Guests of RiverRest will make their home in TWO NEWLY BUILT LOG SIDED CABINS with all the amenities of home. THE BEAVERHEAD AND BIG HOLE CABINS are fully furnished, 2 bedroom, 1 bath, full kitchen, with a very comfortable living space to accommodate 5 people. BOTH CAN BE RESERVED FOR LARGER GROUPS!!

Each cabin also has a 120 sq ft. covered front porch where guests will be able to enjoy the breathtaking views of the valley by day and it’s brilliant stars by night. Treat yourself to “ONE OF THE BEST VIEWS” of our valley or relax after your day’s adventures in front of the electric fireplace.

RiverRest’s excellent location is perfect for your explorations of Southwest Montana. Outdoor activities are boundless: fishing, biking, hiking, golfing, skiing, dirt bike and off road, horseback riding, snowmobiling, hunting, trap shooting….

Treasures such as YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, VIRGINIA AND NEVADA CITY, LEWIS AND CLARK CAVERNS, NORRIS HOT SPRINGS and historical ghost town such as BANNACK are just a short drive away. Treat yourself to a performance by The Virginia City Players in THE OLD OPERA HOUSE IN VIRGINIA CITY.. We are also located between two wonderful wedding venues: The Copper K Barn and The Doncaster Round Barn.

Whether fishing, bird watching, or just taking a walk, guests will find they have their own private access to The Jefferson River from their cabin or will find The Silver Star Fishing Access only 400 yards away. Other “BLUE RIBBON” rivers in area consist of THE RUBY, THE BEAVERHEAD, THE BIG HOLE, and THE MADISON. Countless mountain Lakes and guided fly fishing tours can be found locally.

If you are a hunter, we are in a prime area for deer, elk, antelope, moose…Bird Watching – all you need are your binoculars and take a walk down to the river, we have eagles, sand cranes, osprey, pelicans, pheasant, grouse, turkey, mountain bluebirds…Photography – Montana is THE BIG SKY COUNTRY and with that comes some extraordinary views—the light is never the same so every picture has it’s own magic.

Try the local breweries in Sheridan or Dillon. We also have local distilleries in Ennis and Butte. You will thoroughly enjoy the experience!!!

A car is necessary. If you are a fisherman, R.L. Winston Rod Co. in Twin Bridges is only a 12 minute drive.Four Rivers Fly Shop, also located in Twin Bridges, can kit you out with exactly the right gear. Guided fly fishing trips can also be booked through Four Rivers or Stonefly Outfitters. Custom handmade bamboo rod made by Sweetgrass are located In Butte. Kindred Spirits Gift Gallery in Sheridan or have a custom made hat at Montana Mad Hatters in Twin Bridges. Play a round of golf and visit the Patagonia Outlet in Dillon.
