The Heart of Historic Old Wethersfield

Stay in the heart of Historic Old Wethersfield. Located on a quiet street just steps from both Main Street, as well as the Broad Street Green. Enjoy leisurely strolls, just a few minutes walk to shops, restaurants, museums, and more. Enjoy walks to the Farmer’s Market in warmer months, trips to Anderson Farms vegetable stand, and beautiful Cove Park. Dine at one of the delicious eateries, explore a museum, shop, and come see why our village was the setting of a recent Hallmark Christmas Movie!

Guests have access to 2 bedrooms, including one with a queen size bed with a brand new mattress (as of August, 2019) and an additional queen mattress on the floor for extra guests, a second bedroom with a full size bed, and there is also a sleeper sofa on the first floor. There are 2 full bathrooms, one on each floor. There is a full kitchen and also laundry in the basement for guests with extended stays. Parking is available in the driveway or on the street out front. Big, beautiful back yard has a fire pit and gorgeous perennial gardens perfect for bird watching. Enjoy your coffee or tea in the breakfast nook, looking out the picturesque window to the quiet back yard, or sit on the back deck or patio in the warmer months. The back of the house gets beautiful morning sunlight, and the front of the house receives great afternoon warmth.

This historic village is quiet and quaint, yet lots of families out and about during the day and evenings. There are some great places to eat and explore, and you can walk to so many things! Because it’s one of the oldest towns in America (and the oldest in Connecticut), there are plaques you can walk to and read about so much of the amazing history here. George Washington himself slept right down the street! Most recently, it was the chosen location for a cozy Hallmark Christmas movie. This is an ideal place to stay for couples, families, or solo travelers. This is NOT a place to stay for a party. We raise our son in this home and ask that it be respected as you would your own. Any guest who breaks house rules forfeits their security deposit. Thank you!

We will give you privacy during your stay, but our family lives just down the street and is available to help with anything you may need.

Please relax and make yourself at home. We welcome you to use anything you may need, we just ask that you please clean up after yourself and be respectful of our home as if it is your own.

Please, no shoes in the house. We have a little one who spends lots of time playing on the floor

Please, no parties or events. This is a very family-friendly neighborhood with lots of young children – please be respectful of our neighbors and mindful of noise. Please, no pets or smoking.

Upon checking out, please leave any sheets, towels, blankets, etc. that you use in a pile on the floor so that we may launder them. Please ensure all windows and doors are closed and locked before you leave, and that the thermostat(s) is returned to the temperature it was set to when you arrived. Thank you!
