Willow Lodge is a cozy three bedroom ranch style cottage that is nestled by the edge of the woods on a working farm, Primrose Dale. It is conveniently located only 11 miles from historic Gettysburg, 45 miles from Hershey Park, 70 miles from Lancaster’s amish country, 23 miles from Ski Liberty, and 20 miles from Ski Roundtop and Mountain Resort. The cottage is fully furnished with three beds (one full size and two twins) that sleeps four (4) people and two cots (with mattresses) that sleeps two (2) people. Maximum Occupancy is six (6) people. [Please note that the $80/night rate is based on four people. Add an additional $10.00/night for each additional person above the four up to the maximum of six. Cots are provided only on reservations for five or six people]. The cottage has two full baths with linens, dining area and kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, and all pots, pans, utensils and dishes needed to provide for all of your dining needs. A full size washer and dryer is also included right off the main dining area. Truly a place to ‘get away from it all’, there is no WIFI available but access to the internet or your e-mail can be done easily with a smartphone. There is also no television. Books, board games, playing cards and wildlife sightings are the main forms of entertainment here on the farm. Available for use October through March, is a small working fireplace in the living room providing guests with a cozy atmosphere while taking the chill out of a cool autumn or cold winter’s evening. During the months of April through November, a picnic table and charcoal grill (charcoal not provided) is available behind the house with a beautiful view of the farm and picturesque South Mountains. Next to the picnic table is an inviting fire pit where guests may relax while enjoying an evening beverage, pleasant conversation or some quiet time. An especially welcoming feature after a long day of sightseeing or other area activities. Outdoor seating provided by the owners April through November only. Guests must supply their own firewood for the outdoor fire pit as well as the indoor fireplace as it is not available in or around the property.
