Relax in our private hot tub surrounded by 2 acres of tall Pines and Aspens. Unlimited WiFi, and a Land line too!!!! Enjoy the year-around hot tub and lava bowl, woodstove, DIRECTV (main level), the lakes, fishing and boating (seasonal). The walk to the lake is only 1/2 a mile, or you can drive down to it too. There is plenty of parking, and a covered pavilion with picnic tables. OHV trails are within 4 miles of our retreat! Perfect for the outdoor enthusiast! Driving in, watch out – the signs indicate Elk Crossing and they mean it! We have a herd of over 50 that meander along the road coming into our property.

Located within 5 miles of groceries, restaurants, and gas stations. We are conveniently located near Pikes Peak, Cripple Creek, Woodland Park and approximately 25 minutes to Manitou Springs/Garden of the Gods/Colorado Springs. This property has just added a land line that makes it easy to call about the local attractions.

After a day of cross country skiing, hiking, white water rafting, fishing or enjoying the nearby attractions come back to our cabin and enjoy the fully stocked kitchen (new Kuerig coffee maker), and the view from the deck while grilling on the gas grill. Enjoy the stars from the hot tub while watching the flames of the lava bowl dance in the evening sky. You see no other homes anywhere from the location of the hot tub. It is private and surrounded by forest and wildlife. Enjoy your favorite shows our HDTV 50″ TV, and check out our selection of movies. Our retreat has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, living room, family room, kitchen, dining and laundry room with large washer/dryers.

At the lakes (located only a half a mile away) there are several picnic benches, and volleyball net. There is ample parking next to the lake if you prefer to drive. Drop a line in the lake to fish during the summer months and go ice fishing in the winter- timing varies based on when the ice is thick enough. There is a nominal fee for fishing and NO Colorado license is required. The lake is open for fishing from May through October 31st! We provide the poles, tackle and bait. Also, we have two different kinds of boats for you to enjoy on the lakes in the Summertime- no extra charge. One is a 14ft rowboat, and the other one is a pedal boat.

We do not allow pets and you must be 25 years old to rent this property.
