3BR/2BA Family Home On Deep Canal W/ Heated Saltwater Pool W/ Misting System

The screen-enclosed heated saltwater pool has a misting system that lowers the temp at the sunbathing end of the pool in Summer, and a pool heater that warms the water to your chosen temp in the Winter. Manatee and Dolphin come up to the dock and there are large Sailfin Catfish, Sheepshead fish and Red Snapper to be caught right from the dock or boatlift. You can also catch freshwater bass and trap blue crabs off the dock. Feel free to use our 3 fishing kayaks with rod holders, paddles and PFDs, our two Sun Bicycles to ride to the mall or state park preserve, our 2 SUP paddle boards, and our 4 person canoe to get you to 3 sister’s springs. Boat rentals are available at nearby Twin Rivers Marina or Plantation Inn.

The back and side yards are large and filled with mature oak and palm trees. The back yard is fenced and there is a doggie door so your pup can come and go freely between the house/pool and yard (no dogs in pool please)! There is a finished-in garage with easy inside access to the washer and dryer. There is room in the driveway for two vehicles or a boat trailer or RV. There is a large storage shed in the backyard to store water toys and fishing equipment.

This dog-friendly waterfront home (BUT NO DOGS IN POOL PLEASE!) is located on a family-friendly cul-de-sac street in the coveted north end of Crystal River near the mall, restaurants and the downtown area. It is 5 min. from Crystal River Watersports where you can launch your boat for $10, and buy bait and fishing equipment. When not rented, the home is used by our family for personal vacations. All of our vacation rental homes are equipped with Pack and Play’s for out guests with infants.

The home is furnished with good quality furniture, two sleeper sofas and loveseat, newer appliances, bedding, linens, bathrobes, towels, dishes, toaster oven, griddle and more accessories. The kitchen is stocked with the cookware needed to prepare family meals. The master bedroom has a very comfortable king bed and its own bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has 2 comfortable full size beds. The third bedroom doubles as a den with a leather sleeper sofa for the bed. There is also another full bathroom located in the hallway. The flooring in the sunroom and throughout the entryways to the home is large ceramic tiles making clean-up easy and fast. There are three flat-screen TVs; a 48 in. in the livingroom, a 40” in the den and a 32” in the master bedroom. Wi-Fi and basic cable TV are included.

This family-friendly home is located on a deep canal with Gulf access. The sunroom features seating to enjoy the pool (please rinse off and change swim clothes before going from the river into the pool), canal and wildlife. The pool lanai is screened with a special fine mesh to help keep even the smallest bugs out. The home is approximately 5-10 minutes drive from King’s Bay (& 3 sisters springs) and 35-40 minutes from the Gulf of Mexico by boat. Fort Island Beach is nearby. A large public pool with a skate park is nearby (behind the airport).

Beautiful and peaceful Crystal River has activities for the whole family and offers one of the few remaining areas to scallop in Florida during the summer. With all of the spring fed rivers and miles of mangroves Crystal River has the best Scalloping grounds in the US. Some of the best scalloping action is usually in 4-6 ft of water around Gomez Rocks at Latitude 2829.8, Longitude 8243.7. Offshore, there is shallow and deep water fishing.

The nearby mall has a multiplex movie theater, restaurants and shopping in historic downtown Crystal River. The house is only a short walk or bicycle ride from the Crystal River State Park Reserve and the Mullet Hole fishing spot. There are nine beautiful state parks nearby or play golf at one of the many nearby golf courses. Your family will make wonderful vacation memories here.
